Adding Security Factors to OneLogin Account
Please Follow these Important Steps Below to Secure Access to Your Miles Email Account:
Please be sure to set up your security factors on your account!
You will need to set up an alternate email, Set up the Google Authenticator App, or Set up the One Login Protect Application.
On a DESKTOP or LAPTOP?
Once you log in to milescollege.onelogin.com, click on your name on the top right corner of your One Login screen.
Scroll down to Profile.
Next, select “Security Factors” on the left side of your screen, listed under Profile.
Select the “Add Factor” button.
You can select any factor you’d like, but be sure to select at least one.
On a TABLET or PHONE?
Once you log in to “milescollege.onelogin.com” please select the Hamburger menu on the top left of your screen.
Next, select “Profile”
Select the drop-down arrow next to “Profile”
Next, select “Security Factors”
Select “Add Factor”
Your 2-Step Factor Options:
OneLogin Protect: Once downloaded to your phone, the OneLogin Application for your phone sends a push notification for you to accept each time you need to sign in using this authentication factor.
Google Authenticator: Once downloaded to your phone, the Google Authenticator app will provide you with a code to sign in to your One Login account each time you need to sign in using this authenticator factor.
Alternate Email: This factor sends a one-time code to your personal email account (NOT your Miles.edu account) each time you need to sign in using this authenticator factor.
You can set up as many factors as you’d like, but you MUST have at least one on your account.
